Lonny Magazine: September/ October Issue

I may be a little bit late on the train but Lonny Magazine is great.  I've recently found myself thinking a lot about interior design (as evidenced by my pinterest) because it's not so different from art in terms of colors, textures, and  spacial relationships.  I believe that spaces and surroundings can affect your mood.  

I especially enjoyed the piece in Lonny about the Indian Dhurrie rugs and how they are made.  Someday I will own one! Only I don't think I'd be able to pick which one. And don't they seem to pretty to be stepped on all the time?  Also, loving the cover of this Lonny- I never think of myself as a pink type person but it really works here with the graphic black and white print throw pillows.

CALL FOR MUSIC!

Hi everyone!
I need your help- I just moved to Providence to start grad school and I really need some new music to make me feel more at home (anyone felt the same way?).  Let me know if you have any suggestions. PLEASE, I'm near desperate for some new tunes and have basically just been listening to Bon Iver on repeat.  In the meantime, here's one of my new favorites:

Zara online today!

Can you believe it?  I've been waiting a long time for Zara to go live online so this is BIG.  Now we won't have to rifle and sift through the store's merch searching for something we saw online (unless we want to that is).   Did I mention that the last time I was in Zara the fire alarm went off and we were all evacuated?  Needless to say, glad that now I can shop in peace in the privacy of my own home and avoid all that- woo!
